The Dipl.-Ing. Ruppmann Verbrennungsanlagen GmbH, located in Stuttgart, Germany, was established in 1979 as a successor company of the former Wilhelm Ruppmann GmbH founded in 1892. The core business involves plannings, delivery, erection, commisioning and start-up as well as maintenance of incineration systems.
Based on experiences of traditional industry firing systems in the end of the 19th century RUPPMANN installed the first cremation system in the crematorium of Stuttgart in 1906. Incinerators for clinical and hazardous waste as well as for slightly nuclear residues were installed worldwide. Initially the primary focus was on high combustion efficiency. However, today's installations are subject to demanding environmental and economic requirements. RUPPMANN accepts this challenge.
