Implementation:
Installation of a flue gas cleaning system behind an existing electrically heated cremation furnace.
Specifics:
- The flue gas cleaning system was installed in a new underground part of the building, which was connected to the historic old building via a traverse. This required partially deviating solutions.
- Due to the mercury limit value in Switzerland, a flue gas cleaning system with fixed-bed adsorption was chosen here.
Since the new building was built in depth, the flow of the twin-duct heat exchanger with the incineration exhaust occurs from above.
After flue gas cooling, a multicyclone with tissue filter for dust separation and a downstream fat bed adsorber for mercury adsorption are used.
Due to the low overall height, the cyclone and filter ash is filled with an extraction system.
